To all my loyal visitors,

You deserve an explanation as to why the site has been dead over the last month. I recently accepted a full time teaching position…real life has called and now I must answer!

I will be teaching 2nd graders, and I must admit, I’m beyond excited. I have spent the last month readying my classroom and writing tons of lesson plans.

The amazingly loyal Idolette will be taking over management of EmmyRossum.net. I know the site will be in good hands and that she will take care of it for me. If you have any further questions regarding EmmyRossum.net, all emails can be directed to Idolette at emmyrossumnet@hotmail.com. I will be popping in from time to time, but consider Idolette the “head honcho” from here on out!

The 2012 TCA Summer Tour commenced on July 28th, with our Emmy in appearance on behalf of Showtime! I have some images from the event as well as some candids of Emmy out for dinner afterwards.

Here are some candids from the last few days of Emmy heading to a meeting and on the “Shameless” set where she was nice enough to buy some paparazzi ice cream cones! Way to go, Em!

It sometimes seems like celebrities and photographers are mortal enemies.

But generous Emmy Rossum obviously does not agree, as she made a couple of paparazzi’s day by gifting them ice cream.

The 25-year-old gave them a cone each as they waited around at the set of Shameless in Los Angeles today.

And the snappers were only too happy to accept her gift as they stood in the hot California summer sunshine.

After she did her good deed she went back to have a chat with a friend and posed with glee with an ice-cream covered in hundreds and thousands.

Emmy looked her usual wonderful self in a striped T-shirt, denim hotpants and training shoes.

Entertainment Weekly has released the FIRST LOOK of Emmy as Ridley. How unrecognizable is she?! I love it!

It seems like AGES since we’ve had an update! I hope everyone had an enjoyable 4th of July! I’m assuming Emmy has been very busy working on Season 3 of Shameless, but she did take some time out a few days ago to grab some Starbucks with her mom! As Emmy retweeted from Showtime’s “Shameless” twitter account, the panel has indeed been confirmed for an appearance July 14th. TVFanatic also confirms this appearance.

Shameless, meanwhile, will feature cast members William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Justin Chatwin and Jeremy Allen White inside the Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront on July 14.

So it looks as though Emmy will be joining the “Shameless” panel and not the one for Beautiful Creatures. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to let you know!

Emmy attended the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards last night in a breathtaking Donna Karan gold, shimmering dress with a side swept pony. How breathtaking did she look?! Unfortunately, Emmy was beat out in her category to Claire Danes.
