Emmy’s second album: Sentimental Journey?

Thanks to Fran for the tip on this one! Here’s some information about Emmy’s second album that’s coming out in January of 2013! Who’s excited?

Her music career will also be jump-started in 2013. Fans have already seen her Broadway music side in Phantom of the Opera but Rossum’s new album, entitled Sentimental Journey, will show a different side of the musician. The album is a creative compilation of vintage jazz, blues, and ballads from the 1920’s – 1950’s that Rossum re-made and re-worked for modern audiences. Sentimental Journey will be released mid January around the time of “Shameless” season premiere. (source)

    I’m ecstatic to hear this! This sounds really exciting and hearing her do a variety of song styles on one album will be super awesome!
